Spotlight: Marsh-Rocket Kurt Sasso Comics, News, spotlight 4 Comments I read alot of webcomics. The price you pay for being a reader. There are many comics I read that are just starting out. Many have been around for a few months/years. There are those with small, mid and large archives. That is to say, Jules Rivera author of Marsh Rocket is definitely into the mid-range of archives. The first thing that caught my eye was the variety of vibrant colours and the shading. It’s definitely non-traditional in the sense of black and white or full colour as you can see in the variety of shots. Next came the amazing facial expressions of the characters. The pain, suffering, joy, anguish and death… There’s alot of death. Finally it really was the writing that sealed the deal for me. It was amazing. I spent the next several hours just reading over the comic in its entirety. I mean who wouldn’t want to be a mercenary making tons of money and driving a Benz? sure beats my job. The website design is nice, however if you have a slow computer (and yes I do) sometimes the images; which are side by side to make it like a book format, which is great and not really used on many sites; takes a while to load up. All in all this is a great story, fast paced and you will keep reading from beginning to end. Go now and read author Jules Rivera of Marsh Rocket. She will also be on the TGT Podcast on June 14th. All aboard the Marsh Rocket, flights are leaving now! 4 Responses Bill Snide January 26, 2010 I definitely enjoying every little bit of it and I have you bookmarked to check out new stuff you post.
